Starting time 9.30AM
TRAINING FOR HALF HOUR ONLY (NO CHARGE)
THEN THE GAMES BEGIN!!
FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE AFTER TRAINING
Prizes will be awarded after each category
Games will include:
Fastest Recall
Each dog is timed from one end to the other when they reach their handler.
Musical Chairs
Owner must be sitting in chair and dog must be sitting in front of them when the music stops
Fastest Tunnel
Each dog is timed from when they start to when they exit from tunnel (no allowances for any sniffing in between)
Ball Races
Handler walks along with dog and ball between their legs (knees). Need to get to witches’ hat without dropping ball.
Soccer Races
Played with a soccer ball. Handler needs to kick/dribble the ball to the designated goal posts (witches’ hats) keeping the ball close to them while at the same time holding their dog.
Egg & Spoon Races
Each handler must hold a spoon with a golf ball on it while walking and controlling their dog. The handler and dog team must walk at a reasonable pace towards the finishing line. If the ball is dropped then the team must return to the start line and commence again.
Christmas Fancy Dress
Please familiarise your dog with any items to be used prior to the Games Day so they are not stressed at any time.
